Hybrid Sedan Combines Fuel Economy With All-New Styling

Toyota's Camry Hybrid combines the best elements of the incredibly popular Camry sedan with the high-technology of the manufacturer's hybrid program. The Camry Hybrid we tested blew away the EPA estimates for combined city/highway fuel economy. Watch the video to see for yourself!

High-Technology Hybrid

Toyota’s Camry Hybrid combines the best elements of the popular Camry midsize sedan with the high-technology of the manufacturer’s hybrid program. The Camry Hybrid comes in LE, XLE and SE Limited Edition trim levels. The Camry Hybrid XLE we tested came with the Smart Entry system and leather seats, along with a Premium JBL Sound System. The Camry Hybrid is certified as an Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle, producing 70 percent less smog-forming emissions than the average new car

Camry Hybrid buyers surrender very little in terms of luxury and performance to gain all these environmental benefits. Utilizing a gas-electronic powertrain combo of 200 total horsepower, the Camry Hybrid is plenty fast and responsive—87.7 mph in the quarter mile in our tests—and you can run for more than a mile purely on electric power.

Bluetooth connectivity allows for handsfree phone use, and a USB port that allows enjoyment of music from portable devices. Toyota Entune™, the new multimedia system, is also available. The Entune™ multimedia system can be managed by a voice recognition system that helps the driver stay focused on the road. — D.T.
