King Of The Rocky Roads and Sandpits

A True Off-Road Champion

There is no question the FJ Cruiser is the undisputed off-road champ in the Toyota lineup, designed and built to conquer just about any obstacle Mother Nature can put in its way. Need to climb really steep hills? Cross over rivers? Cruise up a rocky ski-resort access trail to get to the mountaintop? Then you want the FJ.

To this day there is nothing else on the road that looks even remotely like the FJ Cruiser. To help outdoor enthusiasts enter/exit the vehicle with gear, the side access doors open a full 90-degrees in a clamshell fashion for full access to the interior. The glass hatch swings up on the side-hinged tailgate to accommodate really long items, and of course the integral roof rack can handle all of your camping gear up top.

During our tests in the sugar-sand pits, one of the other vehicles got completely stuck in the sand. FJ Cruiser to the rescue. It had no trouble ripping the other vehicle out of the muck thanks to its 271 lb-ft. of torque. So if you are REALLY going out there, you want to be in HERE first.
